Heya!

I'm Barca (bar-sah!) and I was just recently accepted into the Tempest fold. Other than seeing a lot of Tempest presence in Limsa on a frequent basis, I had started to inquire about this FC over a month ago, Garrett regaling me on what a fun and good home it has been to him. After discussing our options, my team of RL friends decided to apply, and although it has only been 2 days, it already feels like home to me!

I played 1.0 for a couple months before sinking into a massive depression (about the game) and leaving. Once Yoshi-P was placed in charge and started to make changes I returned to the game (somewhere around 1.20-1.21, I think) and played sparsely until the servers were shut down. I returned for 2.0 and have been hooked ever since.

I'm 33 and was born and raised in Brooklyn and the NYC metro area. I currently live in the DC-metro area. I'm married (to Aella Myn, also a new member ^^), have no kids, have 2 cats, and have aspirations to move to the west coast. I love (most) music and enjoying singing if I get my confidence up (translation: am drinking). I love video gaming in general and play most genres on most available platforms. I also love traveling and am hoping to get to Oktoberfest this year! I follow a few sports but mostly fiend over European football leagues and tourneys (Premier league, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, UEFA CL for the most part) and international football/soccer competitions (World Cup this year!!!).

Feel free to hit me up for any fighting (currently BLM, BRD, and WAR-capable), crafting (all crafts to 50 (moderate chance of HQing 2* crafts), or gathering (all to 50) needs you may have. Or, if you simply want to chit chat, I'm down with that, too. Fun is the name of the game.

Haha I enjoyed your introduction "Bar-sa" but I have to admit the last part of your second paragraph was complete jibberish to me lol. We enjoy having you aboard and looking forward to making awesome memories as we carve our path through this game. :)

I am all too aware of the fact that many gamers are not into sports, and very accepting of that. My name has roots in the sporting world, but I won't bore you with those details. ^^
